From October 29 to November 1, 2024, Impact Generation, a dynamic youth-led organization advocating for ecological agriculture and climate change adaptation, teamed up with ENABLE TAAT to host an inspiring 72-hour event at the Agripark Center in Benin. This initiative, tied to Impact Generation’s annual ecological agriculture awareness day in collaboration with ODD TV Benin, aimed to inspire young people to embrace agricultural entrepreneurship and adopt sustainable farming technologies.

The event drew over 200 participants, including alumni of ENABLE TAAT’s programs and newcomers introduced by Impact Generation. Attendees engaged in a series of impactful training sessions covering entrepreneurial leadership, business creation and management in Benin, emotional intelligence, financial management, and ecological agriculture. These sessions provided the skills and knowledge necessary for young entrepreneurs to lead in sustainable agriculture and innovative business practices.

Key organizations, including the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIB), the National Employment Promotion Agency (ANPE), and PEBCo Bethesda, participated in the event. Their representatives shared valuable insights into career development, funding opportunities, and business support for young agripreneurs in Benin, further enriching the program.

A highlight of the event was the product exhibition by ENABLE TAAT-trained youth, which expanded their market opportunities while inspiring new participants to explore the program’s offerings. This initiative significantly enhanced ENABLE TAAT’s visibility in Benin, attracting interest from aspiring agripreneurs and reinforcing its impact as a leader in youth empowerment through agriculture.

By blending ecological agriculture, entrepreneurship, and innovation, this event showcased the potential of Benin’s youth to drive sustainable development. The partnership between ENABLE TAAT and Impact Generation continues to empower young leaders, paving the way for a brighter and greener future.
