On June 28th, in Solwezi, Hematon Agro Services, in partnership with Zambia Youth Agripreneurs (ZYA), conducted a comprehensive training session on farm record keeping. This training aimed to equip farmers with vital knowledge and skills in chili production while emphasizing the importance of effective farm record management.

The primary goal was to help farmers enhance their farm operations by maintaining accurate, organized records. Participants learned best practices for farm record keeping, which are essential for making informed decisions to improve agricultural productivity.

Through the training, farmers gained valuable insights into tracking and analyzing monthly expenses, sales, profits, and losses. This ability to assess the financial health of their farms empowered them to identify areas for improvement, streamline their operations, and ultimately boost profitability.

The training not only provided practical skills but also instilled confidence and competence in the participants, enabling them to apply these techniques in their daily farm management activities. With improved record-keeping practices, these farmers are now better equipped to sustain and grow their agribusinesses.
